In this guided 2-hour workshop, each partner will create their own Silky Oak serving paddle. The two paddles are designed as a matching pair — shaped so they nestle together, forming a subtle, beautiful representation of togetherness. You’ll learn how to safely use woodworking machinery and hand tools in a relaxed, supportive studio environment. Each serving paddle can be personalised with custom text of your choice, such as names, a special date, or a meaningful word. Finished with a food-safe wax, your serving paddles are both practical and sentimental — designed to be used individually, displayed together, and enjoyed for years to come. ☕ Tea, coffee, and chocolates are included. Cancellation Policy
Our Valentine’s Serving Paddles Workshop requires advance preparation, specialised materials, individual timber allocation, and dedicated staffing. Due to the personalised nature of this workshop and the very limited number of couples per session, our standard class and course cancellation policy does not apply. The event-specific terms below ensure the workshop can be delivered smoothly and sustainably. We understand that circumstances can change; however, all cancellations must be made in writing to admin@sproutedlearninghub.com . CANCELLATIONS BY THE ATTENDEE Due to the short timeframe, personalised materials, and fixed staffing costs associated with this workshop: Bookings are non-refundable. Rescheduling is not available. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to another couple by notifying us in writing prior to the workshop. The original booking holder remains responsible for ensuring the replacement attendees meet all workshop requirements. NO-SHOWS No refund or transfer is available for non-attendance on the day of the workshop. PROVIDER-INITIATED CANCELLATIONS If we must cancel the workshop due to instructor illness, safety concerns, unforeseen circumstances, or minimum numbers not being met, you will receive: A full refund, or The option to transfer to a future couples or adult workshop, if available. No administrative fees apply to provider-initiated cancellations.
